What's wrong with having a tattoo?

Yes, that is my ink there. It's been 8 years now when I had it. It's one of my dreams to have one back in college. But during those days, since I study Criminology, ink is not allowed so I did it when I started working as a Call Center Agent. The one who did that is one of my friend who happens to be an artist, he paints and he is very talented. I did not pay for that instead I treat him for drinks. It was made for 3 days because of the pain plus it's small. I tried it in the back but it's hurt so I decided to have it in my arm. Before I want to add more, in my wrist, a moon, and 3 stars. A symbol of our culture as a Filipino. But the boyfriend didn't want to. Now I envy someone for having a lot of ink in her leg. For having a tattoo is cool. Yes, it's a self-inflicting pain. But what can we do if that's their own way of feeling the pain? Do you have one?

I don't have any tattoos. I am not a big fan of needles. What kind of tattoo do you have? A wrist tattoo, or those are the ones you want to get?

@infatuatedbby Yes, it is a Chinese character for JOHN 3:16 the whole verse. They find out after 6 months. And they are okay with it. My Father has one in his arm too, and two of my Brothers also has a tattoo.

No, I don't have a tattoo and my husband doesn't have any. But, my son does and so does my daughter. We aren't interesting in getting one, for ourselves.

I have a bunch. I see nothing wrong with having tattoos... though my advice is to keep them in places that you can hide underneath your clothing for professionalism. You never know if a job employer will judge you for them, or what the future will hold.

Nothing wrong with having one, I have one on my left upper wrist. It is of a sun and moon facing each other kissing and I have my husbands name under it in a scroll. Id like to get another one but wanted it on my leg and cant get it there so, I don't know if I will get another one.

No, I don't like a tattoo. I am afraid of how painful it would be. Though, sometimes I have the tattoo that is washable.

Oh yes, I'd love some tattoos! I don't have any. They're expensive, I don't know where to get them, I don't know what I'm going to do with my life. I think the "stigma of having tattoos" will fade away with time. Or at least, I hope so. I really like them, they're sexy.

@JustBhem You mean what tattoo I'd like to get? Well, animals. I mainly think of animals. Or some symbols, such as the biohazard sign, it looks like a tribal tattoo.

I currently have eight tattoos. They are all on my arms. I want to get more eventually. I think there's nothing wrong at all with having tattoos. I don't care for them when people have them on their necks or faces, but anywhere else I think it's fine.

I dont have one and would never want to have one. It's prohibited. I read a phrase in the Bible that having a tatoo is prohibited... just like practicing magic.

I have been thinking about one for quite some time. I would just get a small heart on my foot or something. I'm hesitant because for one, it's permanent, and also I don't want to start and want more. They're expensive! especially if you want them done right and not get infections. I wish I knew a friend who would do it for me...

When I have mine I didn't use injection, it was painful but I endure it. I didn't know it can be done painlessly. If I know I would have it on my back.

@craftsmart I see, sorry about that. All of the needles being use are sterilize and clean.

@JustBhem I haven't heard of injections before, I think the pain is unavoidable. But I think I meant to say that I didn't want infections, or getting germs in the open skin.

Tattoos were not something women had when I was young, not even men to be honest, only some categories (like sailors) had tattoos. I am not a big fan.

I don't have tattoo. I admire those who can endure the pain of having a tattoo. I have seen a lot of tattooed woman here when I massaged them. They are beautiful.
