Theu sure are ot allike bu I ;ove both. Yet they never serve either one here at Westminister Vlla I know some do not like okra can be slimey but I love the flavor anditos good for uslWhen I cooked for myself I ate a lot of eggplant. I made a dish called ratatoulliethat was eggplant cooked with tomatoes, green peppers and celery, and its so good. Wonder why these two veggies d o not get offered here? They are both healthy choices too One original post and graphic by P Hatley co[pyrighted 2017

I wonder if the food choices are influenced by what the cook likes and doesn't like. Maybe she unconsciously avoids them.

I do like fried okra. Not a huge fan of eggplant, but have had it in casseroles and it was okay.

I have tried frozen breaded okra before. And it's not bad. As for eggplant, I do like it. I would love trying new vegetables.
