Finally getting back to the gym tomorrow

I have been a huge slacker this past month. It was a rough transition going back to work and lecturing from bell to bell 5 times a day. I would get home and be so exhausted that I would fall asleep almost immediately. My body wasn't ready to do both my full-time job AND tough workouts at the same time. Then, when I finally decided that enough was enough and I was returning to the gym THIS week, we received the devastating news that our beloved 15 year old cat had cancer and I had to put him to sleep on Tuesday. That put me out of the game for this week. I'm getting up early tomorrow and making my triumphant return to The LIFT for the famous Strongman Saturday workout session. My sister is going to meet me there which will be fun. We always have a good time training together. I'm sure I will sore as hell tomorrow evening and Sunday but I deserve it for taking so much time off.

@NJChicaa Yeah I know you are..especially the way they did that to you at that vets..you need to kick their azz at that place

@TiarasOceanView My family has been going there for 35 years. I have a vet there that I usually see but he was on vacation. I couldn't wait for him to have the cat seen so I guess that's why they had the same vet do the euthanasia.

Happens to the best of us. Life takes over and we have to put back some activities in the back burner. Glad you are able to comeback.

I have the same problem, always planning and no activity. This afternoon I plan to run again, I hope I can make it now.
