It has been a long day. We woke up early hubby worked, I visited my sister and we went early to the cardiac care center, as they had thought they could get hubby in early. Not so. Today is a day for emergency heart attacks. After we had been there almost three hours, the Doctor said he was going to do Bob's catheterization at 2, as originally scheduled. He tolerated the procedure well. The nurse, in doing her job well, kept telling us all the worst things. Such as Dr. always tries to keep his patients overnight. We left the care center at 6:30 p.m. Bob has some narrowing of some arteries, only 30%. He did not have any full blockages, nor did he need stents put in. He will take more medicine. In the next couple of weeks he will be given a pacemaker. He is kind of looking forward to that as he hopes to regain some of his lost energy. Meanwhile, there is a thunderstorm surrounding us and we just lost power for a half second or so. I will turn the computer off.

I am glad he is okay. Be careful and do not let him lift anything to open that artery. I hop the pacemakers works. Gte some rest, I know you are extremely tired.

Oh @andriaperry I took away his key "glob" and his wallet. He carries a million keys. I told him he needed only one. He is being careful, still wearing soft clothes, too.

I am glad it's over and your husband has no major problems. So he only needs to take more medications now?

He will get a pacemaker as well. It is a minor procedure that really helps keep the heart regulated. He did not have serious blockage and that is what is good, because otherwise the process yesterday would have been more invasive. What problems they discovered will be taken care of with medicine. The doctor says he does a good job being active and staying "skinny".

Yeah, I have been with my sister for four stents. The waiting was not too bad, but I would have liked something to put my head on to nap.

Yes, now it is the matter of getting it scheduled and taking time off work to do it.
