I went grocery shopping Wednesday October 4th and there was this older gentlemen in the aisle on one of those scooters and I felt led to ask him if he knew Jesus and he said; " I sure do"! Well I gave him a hug. I introduced myself and he introduced himself. His name is Dickie. What a wonderful elderly man. It was like getting a hug from God! Well I run into him in another isle and this lady says to him; "Sir thank you for serving our country. I turned around and looked and he had a hat on that said Vietnam Veteran and I said to him O my goodness I did not see that I am sorry and I reached out my hand to shake his and thanked him too for serving our country. I met him in another isle and we both just chuckled. It was an honor and a privledge to meet him. Have you had a similar experience? Picture by bing.com

Not like that, but I know some veterans My brother was killed in Viet Nam and his buddy became friends with our family. Those who fought there deserve all of our respect.

No, I have never met a soldier who served his country in a war.
