~How His White Shirt Turned Pink~

Good morning everyone. I was just reminded of something and thought I would share it with you. So, when I clean I find Julian watching a lot of what I do. It's awesome because he is learning and he also loves to join in and help clean. You would think that is a great thing, and it is to an extent. One day I was taking care of Josiah and Julian must have dropped his cup because there was red juice on the floor. I went to get the mop once I saw the mess and little mister Julian grabbed one of daddy's WHITE t-shirts and "mopped" up the mess instead of letting mommy actually mop it up! So...daddy came home and wondered why his once white t-shirt was now pink! Julian had the cutest little smile on his face like he was so proud of himself for helping clean the mess. Kids try to be helpful...and he is most of the time. Picture is Julian

That photo is adorable. I think it is wonderful he helped mop up the mess no matter what happened to dad's shirt. In fact I think it would be kind of cute if dad wore the pink shirt and if anyone commented on him wearing pink that it became pink when his son helped mom clean up a mess.

Kids do like to be helpful even when they make more work. But it's the way they learn. Julian was helping his mama.Good on him.

@RubyHawk Yeah I was the same, I remember wanting to do dishes for my mom. Then when I could I hated it and I still don't like doing dishes. Lol.

My husband evidently mopped a cabin floor with shoe polish, and his mom was mad, but his grandma saved him. The pink in that shirt will not last anywhere near as long as his joy at helping.

Oh I can just picture that little smile on his face now. I'm sure that Daddy was okay because bleach can get most anything out unless it burns a hole in the shirt. On a good note you can also dye the shirt to any color you like!

Aww how cute, my son does that as well, he copies everything I do, I have to be very careful lol. Did you try soaking the shirt in bleach or vinegar and baking soda? If you leave it overnight in very hot water, the shirt might become white again.
