Another rainy day

First off Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadian friends. I hope you enjoy your day today with family and lots of good food. Gobble til you wobble!! 
We are having a quiet Thanksgiving just another day here. My kids are celebrating Thanksgiving with their in laws so I won't be making any big turkey dinner with all the fixings. Not sure what we will cook today but we will have a nice dinner with just the two of us.
It is raining here again today. It rained most of yesterday but we need it. It has been quite windy too so a lot of the leaves are falling already. So what does everybody else have planned for today?

Happy Thanksgiving! When it is just the two of us for a holiday meal I keep it simple with maybe a ham or roasted chicken. We do have a dessert, but not the usual baking I would do if we had a crowd to please.
We had rain today and it was quite heavy. It has stopped for now even though the forecast called for it to rain all day. We have to go out today for a little while. I am feeling cooped up and need to see what is going on in the town.
Leaf peepers will be disappointed with our foliage this year. But, the town bustles with new faces checking out our local businesses. There is a tree or two to see that is blazing with color, but very few.

@Happy2BeMe we got out for about 2 hours! Little Miss did very well. I put her "walkee" on (harness so she doesn't run off!) and let her walk around the stores. She did very well.

I love turkey and make 6 or 7 of them once the weather cools down. I made turkey yesterday and today leftovers yummy/

I know that you have a lot to be thankful for given the events of the past several months and your super recovery.

Happy Thanksgiving! We made tacos one year to break tradition but we did have the pumpkin pie. I had surgery this morning and can't do anything that will pop stitches in my neck and cheek so I've been coloring, reading, and now here to catch up with everyone.
