I love bananas and since I cannot eat them because of the potassium they contain, I want them even more. Bananas are one of the healthiest foods unless for health reasons you cannot eat them. One of my favorite ways to eat bananas was banana and peanut butter sandwiches. Spread peanut butter on your slices of bread and place banana slices between slices of bead. I have heard people from other parts of the country say they have never heard of peanut butter banana sandwiches. I suspect it's a southern thing.
Banana pudding was also one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure everyone eats banana pudding. I also used to make banana, pineapple cake Now I make pineapple cake. Bananas are also perfectly delicious to eat alone. You can also eat them like popsicles. Just peel and wrap in plastic wrap and put them in the freezer. If you have popsicle sticks you can slide one in a banana before freezing. I always had these tasty treats in the freezer for my kids and grandkids. If you need extra potassium you can't do better than eating bananas.

No, I'm not going crazy but I would like to talk about BANANAS-- that luscious tropical fruit that many foreigners crave to savor. I like to cook and eat banana chips. Delicious but quite hard to prepare. You need to peel raw bananas and mind you, they

@RubyHawk They're very popular here especially for tea time. Lately people have started making chocolate-cheese banana fritters too. They're delightful!

@RubyHawk I had a friend who liked banana pudding better than cake and wanted it one year when his Mom said she would bake whatever he wanted. That is what he wanted and that is what he got.

@ilocosboy I don't know what kind of bananas we have here but they look like the ones in the picture. But they are different because after reading the article I see they contain no potassium and ours are loaded with potassium.

There may be different kinds of bananas in the whole world but there’s no other banana that can ever compare to the nutrients that a Cardava Banana in the Philippines can sustain. According to the …
