Many of you may be too young to have danced away with The Platters. I have always felt that I had the fortune of being young when there was a great change in music. What are now called "classics" was the music we knew by heart and the music we danced to in parties. The Platters was a group of rhythm and blues and doo wop of the 50s. Check it. One of the songs I like best of them is "Smoke gets in your eyes". Do you know The Platters? What is the song you like best?

I know that song, we heard it often in the past during the 80s and 90s. These days, radios tend to turn on different type of music.

I love the Platters, although I wasn't alive when the music was new. I grew up listening to it anyway. My favorite songs by them are "Only You," "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," "Crying in the Chapel," and "The Great Pretender." Although I don't think I've ever heard a song I didn't like by them. I love the old doo wop groups from the '50s.
