Juicy Cantaloupes

When my daughter was out yesterday she stopped at our local supermarket to pick up a few things and came home with 3 huge cantaloupes. I really was surprised because I thought cantaloupe season had ended.
The best part was the price. These cantaloupes were only 97 cents each and like I said they were huge. For that price I expected them to be pretty tasteless but when I cut one up this morning it was juicy and delicious.
A welcome treat and healthy!!

I don't know why they were so cheap and there was no limit on how many you could buy

I thought they were mostly over now too. Besides the ones in the fruit cups. Glad it was juicy

I love cantaloupes but haven't had any in ages. Usually if they show up in store here in Latvia they cost a lot.

They usually cost more than what my daughter paid but even at the highest you probably pay way more

A juicy cantaloupe is a thing of beauty!! It is such a treat to eat when they are ripe. That is a great price too.

I am not fond of cantaloupes but I buy them for Tony.
