I wasn’t sure if my artwork would get any attention on mylot but I have gotten quite a few compliments and it has made me very happy. I will post one more tonight and then give it a rest for a few days, so you won’t get bored with me.
It’s just that I am so happy to be able to share with some of you, what really, very few people that I know, realize that I actually do this artwork. I did share a couple photos on Instagram too.
It really does take a lot of time and concentration to choose the right colors and to color all the small details on a coloring page.
So, here’s one more that I hope you will like.

Orange is one of the colors I like to use. Many of the pictures require a lot of GREEN. I have used up at least 20 green gel pens in different shades. The patterns have a lot of trees and grass and leaves and plants. So, there is a lot of green going on.

Coloring a pattern that was created by someone else requires a lot of concentration and hands on work. I don't know if that qualifies as my being an artist, though. Aside from the coloring, however, I do have some talent with pencil drawing and charcoal.
I've tried oil painting and acrylics and even water colors, but I'm not that good at that. I do have the desire to be an artist, but coloring is probably the closest I will get to that.
Coloring is satisfying to me though and I enjoy the artistry of what I can do. Thank you for the compliment.

Thank you so much. I didn't know what response I would get on mylot, but it seems that some persons do like my artwork, so I will continue to post some of my pictures from time to time. I don't want to bore anyone with it though.

Coloring, I suppose, is not TRUE art but it is FUN and I enjoy doing it. It does take a lot of concentration and patience. Just choosing the right colors is a challenge and sometimes I get frustrated that I don't have the exact color that I want. I'm always looking for new colors. I use gel pens for these pictures and its difficult to find some colors other than the basic colors.

Thank you very much for the compliment. Coloring is something that I started doing recently and I'm enjoying it very much. I have lots of completed pictures, so I will share some more later. I don't want to bore everyone with all my pictures, so I will scatter them on mylot from time to time.

Thank you so much. Its just coloring a pattern that someone else created, like a child's coloring book, but this is what they call "adult" coloring. I just started this new hobby recently and I'm having a good time with it.
