Did you ever wonder what it would be like

If you were someone else instead of the person you are today? I use to think about this a lot when I was younger and then I forgot about it and now that I am older, I have more time to think about some funny things.
Sure, growing up I use to think of things I would like to be like or do but I forgot about things like that until recently. Being retired I have more time to think of such things.
How about you? Do you ever think about things like this or am I the only strange one that thinks about these things?

I've often wondered what it would be like to be born in a different family, to different parents, even what it would be like to be royalty and have everything. I still wonder what it would be like to be the person I see here or in the grocery store. Then I think, I'm glad I'm me, even with all the problems I've had. I couldn't imagine doing anything other than writing.

I think it's natural for all of us to think "what if..." types of scenarios. What if I would have stayed in the military instead of going to college? What if I had majored in a different degree instead of the one I did? What if I would have taken that other job instead of the one I did? Hindsight is always 20/20, so it's easy to look back on your life and either question the decisions you made, or wonder how things could have turned out differently. But each experience we've had in our life--whether good or bad--made us who we are today!

I have had some what if moments in my life especially about important decisions. What I wonder about sometimes is what if I grew up in a different time period and what that would be like? Talk about strange

i do. only i think about what would i have been like if i was born to a different mother instead of one that clearly did not want me because she was so young and dad was so old compared to her.
