Today has dawned cloudy but it is supposed to get quite warm later. It is a good day for the Fall festival which I will be going to in a few. I had a really hard time sleeping last night though. When I finally fell asleep past two AM I woke up at 6. I came out to sleep on the couch for awhile because sometime a change is what I need. I slept a couple more hours out here so I don't really feel tired..but I think I am going to have to get some Melatonin. Clearly my sleep needs a hand! How did you sleep?

Since going through menopause I have a very hard time getting to sleep. Once I get to sleep I do pretty well, but that 2 hours of tossing and turning is making me crazy. I too wake early. Although today I slept till 8 am which for me is pretty darn late.

My sleep is much better than it used to be. I used melatonin when I was younger. It worked for a while but I kept having to up the dose in order to sleep every week. I struggled with it for ages. Now that I am older, I think my body has decided that I need to sleep at least 4 to 6 hours per night. I do still get up throughout the night but I can go right back to sleep.
