Good Morning, Oct 14

Today has dawned cloudy but it is supposed to get quite warm later. It is a good day for the Fall festival which I will be going to in a few. I had a really hard time sleeping last night though. When I finally fell asleep past two AM I woke up at 6. I came out to sleep on the couch for awhile because sometime a change is what I need. I slept a couple more hours out here so I don't really feel tired..but I think I am going to have to get some Melatonin. Clearly my sleep needs a hand! How did you sleep?

Sorry to hear that..I normally sleep pretty well..but I can't stand nights when I can't fall asleep.

I had a bad night, I woke up three times with very bad cramps in the stomach. Today I feel tired but I hope to be able to sleep better tonight.

oh yuk..yeah my stomach was bothering me a little because I always take an aspirin before bed,,and if I don't drink enough water or have enough food in my stomach it will bother me.

@snowy22315 I have no idea what caused my stomach cramps, but today I have a Cystitis, very annoying.

My sleep is much better than it used to be. I used melatonin when I was younger. It worked for a while but I kept having to up the dose in order to sleep every week. I struggled with it for ages. Now that I am older, I think my body has decided that I need to sleep at least 4 to 6 hours per night. I do still get up throughout the night but I can go right back to sleep.

4 to 6 hours is not much, but it might be enough. I don't think I get much more sleep than that.

Try to rest more. You need proper sleep. Listen to slow music or may be do workout because physically tiredness helps to get sleep.

Since going through menopause I have a very hard time getting to sleep. Once I get to sleep I do pretty well, but that 2 hours of tossing and turning is making me crazy. I too wake early. Although today I slept till 8 am which for me is pretty darn late.

@fishtiger58 Maybe try going out to the couch. I find when I go there it is easier for me to sleep. I might just need a change of scene I think.

@snowy22315 After tossing and turning for 2 hours to get to sleep once I wake in the morning I just can't stay there

Yeah, that is the best..Last night was kind of cool..I felt cold initially and covered myself with the heavy duty comforter.

@Kandae11 I have been using a lightweight comforter but I felt chilled. Not sure why, because it wasn't really that cold in the room.

So sorry. I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow and never wake up until morning. Once in a while, I wake up, and that's when I can myLot in peace. lol

I work so much that by time I get in the bed I am sound asleep in no time, a few nights passed without me even reading.
