@LadyDuck , So do I. There is a reason we have teeth and they are good for chomping on those finger licking good BBQ wings and ribs. Oh man. Talk about hungry.

The ones we ate actually, to be perfectly honest, were, in fact, baby back ribs. Tender and falling right off the bone.

@Happy2BeMe , I see people eating ribs every single time I walk into Sonny Bryan's, a Barbecue House, that is very typical of Texan fare. The Dallas area is kind of split between Mexican and the Old West style of foods, along with Steak Houses, Mexican Taquerias and the run of the mill fast food chains which I detest because of poor service and cheap quality.

@allen0187 , Well I figure there is room for new words. I have quite the limited vocabulary, although I do pride myself with knowing just a few technical words. I can't even spell Croatia, or is that Kroashia? You know what I am getting at? Tom Hanks used a word for a country he was a character from what I think was called from that movie, Krackoshia, or was it Cracosia? I don't even think that place exists except in our collective imaginations.

It sounds like a word so I am sticking with it.

I only wish. , I have relatives in Georgia and North Carolina. But I am partial to Dallas, since that is where I live. There are lots of pseudo Italian, Tex-Mex and even Asian places where I just won't eat at. I tend to stick with home cooked meals, even if it is something as simple as a pot of pinto beans. The ribs I really like are baby back ribs, pork ribs, that are cooked in the oven until very tender. Then it's basically a matter of using the right barbecue sauce to make the flavor right. I guess people use glazing or use brown sugar to coat the ribs. But simple cooking is what I like most.
