Best Dinner This Week

Being on the run all week I lived on sandwiches and fruit, or eating out. Today since I have stayed in all day I cooked fresh vegetables from the garden and some store bought. Late yesterday evening I picked a mess of kale and cleaned it, stored it in the fridge over night, I cooked those and a medium pot of butter beans, later this evening I made a pone of cornbread and I fried potatoes with onions. Fresh picked banana peppers on the side. That is dinner, I swear this is plain good food. I am waiting for Tony to come home, he went hunting today, second all day trip alone. I do believe he will make it now. How was your day? Photo fresh picked banana peppers.

A meal is so good when you can have a mess of veggies along with it or for the main part of it.

Home grown garden veggies always taste better to me than store bought. The butter beans sound good, and corn bread for me is irresistible

@andriaperry OMG that is fantastic!!! Cornbread is so good I don't need to put anything on it, but when I'm bad I do enjoy a little butter w/ plum jelly on top, yum!

I miss vegetables. I am always on the go and eat unhealthy food for weeks now. I can't wait for the cornbread to be served.

Other than the kale, lol, it sounds like a yummy dinner. I love fried potatoes and onions, sometimes with bacon, carrots and cheese.

My dinner last night was really good. I cooked up a pot of sauce with meatballs and we had it over rigatoni pasta. Good for Tony going out hunting and back to living life

My day was very special. I discovered that the burglars had broken my new Smart TV. But on the other hand, I found and bought Luna, the most beautiful puppy in the world. I made 2 posts with pictures. Go and check her!
