We had company today... a four legged visitor...

we were sitting by the open, patio doors ..., It wasn't quite warm enough to sit outside... but, it was very pleasant sitting inside, with the doors open, looking outside at the garden, and enjoying afternoon tea.
we were watching a deer helping itself to the windfall apples at the bottom of the garden... they come in and do that quite ofen... so that wasn't such a surprise but then .... after he had had his fill of apples, he came down into the main garden and nibbled some grass, and then sat down, and started cleaning himself... I don't think he knew we were there... he sat there for nearly 20 minutes in the late afternoon sun...
I took the photo, to show the lady whose garden he was sitting in, because she couldn't see him... he was too far to the left, of her field of vision...
I love watching wild life ... do you ?

I don't think he was disorientated... @Juliaacv as they wander thru the garden all the time... but today he sat down..lol... I'm trying to to post a photo of him.. but it doesn't show up on the post.. will try again in a few minutes ...

@sueznewz2 We always see them in the paddocks. The two backpackers we had here recently were enthralled with them. There are a lot of young joeys at the moment too.

@sueznewz2 ......I used to drive my grandkids nuts with the flash. Trying to get their picture and the flash would go off and scare them every time.

Such a lovely photo. Yes, I enjoy seeing the wildlife. We have enough property and it is ungroomed that we will always have small creatures. Just across the road and down the road a bit are other places where we have seen deer, and coyotes.

Yes I do, while I don't see dear in my yard the squirrels have been very busy in our driveway collecting acorns.
