Birthdays Coming Up

Birthdays are coming up for My better half's son in law and daughter in law next week. We're having a dinner for them at our apartment and I'm trying to think what food to cook. Some of the invited are picky eaters. It will be plain simple food because I don't cook anything complicated. I'll bake each of them a cake. For the meal I'm thinking potato salad,green peas, deviled eggs, corn and a big green salad. If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it, but no flesh. I have bunches of cook books but I could spend hours looking and still not find what I want. Please help.

What you've got going sounds good to me. What about a vegetable platter, and maybe a fruit one too.

That's a very good idea and humus for a veggie dip. Maybe A big fruit salad.

Find out some of the food that the son in law and the daughter in law like to eat and cook one from each of them. The dinner is for the son in law and the daughter in law.

Yes it is.; they each have a birthday. I know the foods they usually like. Just trying to think of something a little different.
