Till death do Us part?

Do you really think marriage should be an eternal union? I think it's so wrong after all... People come together to see if things will work. I mean, how can they be sure of the eternal union if things don't work out the way they expect / imagine? For this, they have to try to live together first... And who guarantees that future problems will not happen? (because they will). Marriage to me is nothing more than an institutional act created by the church.

Things have changed , and many marriages do not last. i would prefer people to stay together then exchange their vows later on in the old age.....

I agree. I also don't see why people should be "stuck" in a marriage that is not working or if they are unhappy. Marriage is overrated anyway .

I don`t know about others but for me, I always want to know the persons personality more before entering marriage and the moment you feel that the person is the one whom you can accepts that person as he is whether bad or good. Then, a possible long time relationship can be said true

I think it should be but nowadays it has stopped being. The value of marriage has gone down.
