The Solar Gnomes Have Arrived

The stump left behind after my husband cut down a small fir tree has been turned into a "gnome home" by my husband. The "gnome-home" stump is decorated with a window through which a gnome peeks out to say "Hello," a "Welcome" sign, an open door with a gnome standing on the doorstep beckoning others to come right in, a roof, and a sidewalk that leads to the front door. This past weekend, the solar gnomes arrived. Any home that houses gnomes must have lighting when darkness falls. After the rain stops falling here, the solar gnomes will be in place. The long metal poles attached to the solar gnomes will be hidden within the growth of the two live fur trees that flank the "gnome home." Soon, the "gnome home" will be ready. I have to find a female gnome or two due to the fact that all our stump gnomes are males.

Female gnomes exist but they're rare. Gnome world is mainly male. Think of Snowhite and the seven dwarves. Only males!

Yes, I did read the female gnomes are rare, but I did find female gnomes sale on line. If I buy this one, I hope she is much bigger than the males.

Yes, and the gnomes are in charge of everything underground. Perhaps next year's garden will be even better.

That still makes me laugh. Love that guy, way he cut that down. I think may be in love with your husband after that one. The gnome will surly work for next time. How to handle women. Your husbands needs to write that He knows, Bromance for sure. I understand where you are going here and you are not wrong.

I tried to talk him out of it, but he was quite excited about the stump becoming a gnome home. Just had to let him have at it.

Sounds interesting! Is there any significance to using gnomes for a welcome sign?

Well, I don't think gnomes mean welcome, but I do know gnomes guard all that is below ground. A big job for gnomes.

Yes, I did read the gnomes are guarding gold that is underground. We will need to dig up the entire yard to get at it.
