My boss totally shocked me today

He was asking about my daughter's wedding and how the planning was going earlier in the day. When I was leaving work he asked me if I bought a dress for my daughter's wedding yet. I told him that I hadn't done a lot of looking or seen anything that I really liked yet.
He said, "When you do let me know and i will pay for it." I was like "What? You would do that for me." He said yes he would. It would be his gift to me for my 30 years with the company. He told me not to worry about the price. Get whatever I want. I was with the company 30 years the day I had my heart attack. That sure made my day to hear that. I was shocked but so happy.
I guess I will start dress shopping soon

Yes it is. The years have gone by so fast. My daughter was two months old when I started there.

Thanks. We don't get raises so once in a while he will do something for one of us to make us feel appreciated.
