My Grandchildren Have Shared With Me!

Some Mylotters have been following my adventures in babysitting five of the grandchildren for a week.
We've gone to the library....we've played at the park....Saturday we toured the local firehall (they had their annual open house).
We've spent hours picking up the bushels of walnuts that the wind has knocked out of the trees. We've picked up branches that the same wind knocked to the ground.. They've been playful, argumentative, happy and sad. They've shared hugs and kisses...we've backed and crafted and generally kept ourselves occupied.
There is one thing I wish they hadn't shared. Saturday morning I had a sore throat and headache....Sunday a slight fever.....Sunday night a cough and today a nose that is streaming...I didn't want to share their cold, but this too, will pass.

@LadyDuck , lemon with honey mix with lukewarm water is good for @Morleyhunt. I got a cold lat week and right away flu followedFortunately, I immediately took Paracetamol Biogesic and it did not dominate; only one-hour flu.

The sneezing, coughing and runny nose means I can't go to the hospital for my father...that makes things a tad inconvenient... Tomorrow the little darlings go home...hopefully the head isn't so stuffed up.

Glad you had a good week with your grandkids minus them getting you sick. My boyfriend has been sick with the nasty crud going around too. I hope you feel better soon

Oh poor thing, if the kids don't share their toys, the one thing that they do share are their germs. Hopefully it passes by fast! At least you all have been having fun!

That was my wish, but it seems the stress in my life has weakened me....this has been one determined....hang on until the bitter end, cold. I'm finally (a week and a half later) feeling almost normal again.

If I were your grandchild I would not give you a cold and we could enjoy wonderful ric pudding for breakfast everyday
