Keys, Keys, Who's Got The Keys?

For two days now we have been searching high and low for a missing set of keys. We have looked everywhere for them. We have gone over the house from top to bottom. I am beginning to believe that they got up and walked out of our front door. Unfortunately this set of keys has some we really need. They include the keys to one of our storage buildings, the one we use the most. Hubby tried to cut the lock off but has been unsuccessful. I don't now what he is going to do yet to get inside but I sure wish those keys would show up before he gets crazy on the storage building. I hate when this happens, don't you?

They inevitably turn up in the very last place you'd think to look for them. After you've removed any need for them, of course.

Of course they do. I know one day after we have a new lock, the old keys will be there laying on a shelf.

What worries me is we have a certain bowl that we put all of our keys as we walk in the door. I don't know why they aren't there.

We haven't found them yet. We will probably find them after he gets the lock cut off.

Yep, happens to me all the time and boy does it drive me nuts. I wish I could help but the only thing I ever do is just forget about them and start some project or another and suddenly there they are, sometimes thats all you can do.

I know that feeling @HazySue I've lost the gate keys a few times which means I would have had to climb the front gate and walked. I wouldn't mind walking but when it's hot it can be dangerous to do so.

That's about what we are doing for now. Next week though, we will have to get the locked cut off. We have to get in there.

My husband is always losing his keys, so we bought TILES, a key type object that helps locate missing objects. It never worked well, though.

We tried a kay retriever that is supposed to make a certain noise when you lose your keys but it didn't work correctly.
