Hello everyone. I hope you've been having a good day. It has been a cold one here at the Jersey Shore. It definitely felt like fall!
The tone for my day was set as I walked out the door to work at 6:20am. I saw the empty cat bed and remembered my old man cat who left us 2 weeks ago today. That was it--I started crying and it continued all the way to work. I got my job done and done well but I was hurting inside.
When I got home from work I went straight to bed and slept for 3 hours. My headache is gone but my mood is still pretty foul. My husband said he is just leaving work so he may get home after I am already back in bed. That is probably best for him.
I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Losing our beloved pets, is a devastating experience! Those memories are still painful, if I look back:)

@NJChicaa How did your special friend die, was he pretty old? I had my sweet cat euthanized. Mindy was suffering terribly, and I hated to see that happening to her!
