Just Another Bridge over a Creek Lean

When you are out of coffee, it's desperation time, and boy, were we desperate. The temperature is in the 70's today, so I ran the 7 1/2 mile (round trip) coffee errand on my mountain bike. Got a can of coffee, a loaf of bread, and some garlic toast, and saved four bucks by not taking the bus. And I took a picture of my bike as I rode home. It's just another bridge over a creek lean, but pretty enough that it works. All in all, it made for a good day.

Thank you. It's my favorite of all the bikes I've owned.

@toniganzon - I do too. This is my second Trek, third if you count my old Gary Fisher, which is made by Trek.

On your bike, you saved the day . You're making a pretty good series with your "bike leaning selfies" . . . you and that bike have been on many adventures!

@teamfreak16 How many bikes do you have? Is this the super expensive one? I'd have to say the one I had as a kid was my adventure bike . . . a yellow Schwinn .

We have. This is my favorite of all the bikes that I've owned. This bike in this photo is the one that I had the most adventures on, however. So far, anyway.

@much2say - This is the only one, but I did once own four at one time.

Heh. When I saw this post to my right, I knew it had to be you. The creek looks really pretty, as does the bridge. And of course there's the beauty of a Trek (that what I ride as well). Yours is a more recent model than mine.

@teamfreak16 Yep. I've had it for close to 20 years. I think it has Shimano components, but I'd actually have to check. No shocks.

@TheHorse - My girlfriend had a rigid 820. She rode it for a few years. The only reason that she got rid of it was because it didn't quite fit her properly.

You have a Trek 820, don't you? Very, very durable bike.

Nice photo. A coffee run was definitely warranted if you were out of coffee. Can't start the day without it.

Thank you. I like to take pictures of my bike. Yesterday was a bonus. I got to ride, and we have coffee for awhile.

we have a temperature from 69.8F to 82.4F. Days went cooler except a little bit hot at noon. A nice sunshine day. Have a nice day!
