I have used Coconut Oil for years, and feel great. It is supposed to benefit the heart, digestion, prevent fungi, bacteria, viruses and a lot more. It has Lauric Acid, and digests more easily than many other oils. We know that nuts are good for most of us, and coconut is a very healthy nut.. We live in a country with cold weather, so the Coconuts don't grow here, but we can get the oil to our stores.. Why not read about all the benefits:
Coconut oil has several benefits such as skin care, hair care, weight loss, improving digestion, immunity against a host of infections and diseases and relieving stress.

Since we have abundant supplies of coconut trees and I have been eating the coconut meat since I learned how to eat I think, we are very familiar with its benefits. We even call the coconut tree as the tree of life.

@buenavida I'm 39 and in just a few more months I'll be 40. I've never been overweight my entire life. And I don't like taking meds.

That's good to know it. But I think it is not so easy to get fresh coconut milk. We can buy it from the stores in bottles but I think there are more chemical stuffs inside.

@buenavida We don't use coconut oil. Normally here the peanut oil, corn oil, tea seeds oil etc. are much more popular.

Coconut oil is the best oil among all oils. Its good for our skin and hair. It makes our skin soft and shiny. It promotes hair growth. But the coconut oil which we use should be pure. I apply coconut oil on my hair and I also use coconut oil for cooking.

I use it for cooking and with schampo when I wash my hair, but most times I use it uncooked mixed with cocoa and cinnamon, to keep the blood sugar down - It is great with a little chokolate, often 70% dark..

@pradab I am not sure how much heat we can use for olive oil, Perhaps you can find info from DrMercola’s site.. Many oils are best cold pressed for salads..
