Pacemaker surgery for my husband will be November 14 unless someone else cancels and it happens sooner. We have felt up in the air waiting to know the date as we need to request days off. We are looking forward to him having an increased energy level. Meanwhile, it is life as usual.

Wishing him all the best. He will feel so much better once the surgery is done and he has his pacemaker.

Yes, the waiting was getting rather annoying. It is a busy cardiac care practice with several offices, and we never know when we will find the nurse available to make the schedule.

That's good news, and relatively soon, too. Best wishes for a positive outcome.

We had understood it would be quicker than that, but this is a busy practice and they have many patients.

It should be fine. It is usually an outpatient procedure.

I am glad you have a date. One elderly man I knew that had one felt much better but he was not able to lift anything heavy after the surgery.
