I would like to donate a small percentage of incomplete to the orphanage homes .But I am not having any permanent jobs. So if I get a good job with affordable income I will definitely donate the requirements of atleast 5 child .I am on my final year ,next year I hope I will get job. After that I can donate . Have you donated orphanage ? Share your experience ? Let others know ,it would motivate them

I have donated money, but I canĀ“t on a permanent basis as my mother could, so I just give what I can when I can. Mostly I donate to a hospital for children with cancer.

We don't have orphanages here anymore, they were closed down decades ago because the children were abused and starved by greedy owners. Now we have foster care (people who take children into their homes) and have a huge problem with children being abused and starved and mistreated by their foster "parents". It is a horrible situation and I wish parents would not have to have their kids taken away. Many orphans are placed with relatives but so often those relative say they can't afford the child so they end up in foster "care". If you can't donate money, can you donate your time? Read to a child or group of children a few minutes a week, talk to them, hug them, tell them stories, volunteer in the kitchen, etc.

@Lignitecityabishek96 When I had my dog things would happen and had to have blood checked but I am sure you are talking about blood drives. No, I have not done those.

@Lignitecityabishek96 No reason - the opportunity just never came up. I have donated to other needy places though.

I had been a member of Civic organizations like LIONS club and Rotary club when I was young and single and made countless donations but not anymore now, it's now more for the family after I got married but I still give my offerings from time to time to our local Christian church.
