Sorry, not sorry?

When is the best time to say we are sorry? Is it after the heated arguments or during arguments? My 3rd Brother and my cousins are having their drinking session outside our house and some of them are already stoned. One cousin feels off to what my other cousin was saying so he leaves and never come back. My Brother talked to one of my cousins that he should change his ways in making other people feel a little bit off. He didn't get it and misunderstood what my Brother was telling him and he leaves too. Later, he went back and was sorry if he acted rudely. My Brother understand it and take his sorry. Thank God no more drinking session happening outside. They all went home peacefully.

To describe that reunion as a "drinking session" sounds to me as if nothing that is said there has any consequence

Drinking can often cause some misunderstandings. Glad that they all worked it out and went home peacefully.

For me, the perfect time to say sorry is after full realization of what have you done.

@JustBhem But commitment is very important to me. Sorry is nothing if someone keeps on repeating the same bad traits.

@cttolledo Nah, I learned my lesson when it comes to someone like that. First and second mistake, I can take it. But the 3rd one.

Yeah, it is too. Sometimes we need to go away, breathe in and breathe out. Then let it go.

I don't say sorry, I sing sorry! Have you heard this song - - " I'm sorry, my love . . . if I have broken your heart last night . . I beg you to forgive me . . and be my love again!" sang by Victor Wood. I used to sing this to my wife after an argument . . and I sang it a bit out of tune to sound funny. . . . hehehe

that is a good thing to follow especially those who commit misunderstanding during drinking session. When is the best time to say sorry? Find the perfect timing

Too much drinking can bring out the unpleasant side of a person.

Pretty awkward, but that's what drinking does.
