So I was in a car accident almost a month ago. I was rear ended and I did all the steps I was suppose to do. I sent photos to the insurance, I gave them the police report, I went and had 3 estimates done and a month later they are still dragging their feet on this. I'm not even trying to get extra money out of them. I just want my car fixed. It's about $1700, I'm sure the insurance company can afford that much but instead they keep giving me the run around. I see why people don't want to pay for insurance or commit fraud. It's almost like you have to lie and cheat to get what you deserve. I got my lawyer involved now so hopefully they will take the hint from his call that they need to get this taken care of soon. Hope you all are having a better week then I am :)

I really think that the insurance companies and attorneys have a secret agreement! I went through much the same thing years ago only I had to have surgery and nearly lost my spleen. I have a huge scar from it. The insurance company would not pay my medical bills or time lost from work or my vehicle loss so I had to get an attorney, a real snake who wanted me to also sue the driver--an unemployed father of 3 whose house was in foreclosure and they were on public assistance but he managed to pay his car insurance because he was a decent person. I'm sorry you have to go through all this. Insurance companies could save so much money if they would just do as they promised in their contracts with the insured!
