I Was Not Happy So I Did It Again

I was not happy with it so I took it apart and did it again, I can tell you that Tony was not happy seeing me removed everything and start over. He assumed I was outside walking the dogs or whatever till he came out and yelled down to the greenhouse asking " You got it or do you want help?" I said " Help would be nice." After I heard his mouth and the foul mood he was in I wished I had a roll of duct tape and I wished I would have done it alone, because he did not want to do it the right way, again. No! I am not saying my way IS the right way but the instructions are there for a reason, right? Because of the book and its simple instructions is the reason I went this route instead of wood and nails, clear roofing and sides. So regardless of his protests and fighting the plastic, I walked to the garage and got the rest of the lumber needed and laid each plank in the right spot and guess what? It worked! But I did not rub it in, he is bigger than I am Oh, Last week Tony put the the plastic on the wrong way and the rain and wind blew it off, I already knew it would not stay But NOOOOOO! I was just the crazy woman that did not know what I was talking about, (while holding the book in my hand that explained each step) I just waited, took three days for it to be on the ground. While its still sloppy and does not have a door yet, the plastic is up and the planks are in place but not secured, I was exhausted because each time he would let his mouth run, I walked off, me and the dogs would do a lap around the property or I picked veggies from the garden. I did get plenty of exercise. My greenhouse is covered once again, but its still not right, if I redo it again I will NOT ask for any help. I am not sure if I will work on this today again or wait another day, but I need a door sooner than later, the cold night are here. Ever had to redo stuff because someone would not follow instructions?

I have learnt that if I want something done as I like, I do it and I say nothing to my husband.

@andriaperry If I ask to my husband to help, he wants to do things "his way", that is not all the time the right way. So I try to hide and to everything I can "MY way".

They say 2 heads are better than one, but I always questioned that theory when assembling something?

@andriaperry And that reminds me of another saying "If you want it done right do it yourself." Pretty good coming from a man, ha

All the time, my husband does not seem to think the instructions are important or pertain to him. You know they only pertain to all the other people they were put in the boxes for! Or after he gets it so far he will say this dont look right and restart .. smh..lol

@andriaperry Mine too as it is wasted time and energy. Sometimes money even and who has that to waste?!

I think that men have issues with both following directions and asking for directions....insult to the ego maybe

Countless times my husband has thought he knew better than the directions...then had to do it over again. Then gets mad at himself for it, until the next time when he doesn't follow directions. Some men are hard headed I suppose. Lol.
