It's That Time of Year

When I first moved in here a little over a year ago, I asked the office about the sun coming in the windows, and she said, no problem. There isn't for spring and summer, but fall and winter is a different story. I have it directly in my eyes, something I was reminded about yesterday with the sun shining in full force. Even with the tree full of leaves still, the sun's percolating effect still has me squinting from time to time to see the screen.
So, during this time, I'm going to take a nap. I had a rough night, up every hour. So, with swimming and shopping under my belt, I'm going to lay low for a couple hours - in bed for some of the sleep I didn't get last night.
I'll be back. I still have a lot of notifications to do, as well as getting more proofing done for Freedom's Cry. It's going well, just not fast enough for me, but I'll get it done, and should be approved sometime next week. Then it will be available. So it's getting there.
Now, before my next yawn, I'm going to post this and get a nap. I hope your day has gone well so far. Thanks for reading.

Sun has weird ways of coming and going depending on the seasons of the year.

Yes I have the sun coming in one side of the house in the Summer and the back side in the Winter, for my bedroom I have to have black out curtain.

That's good you have black out curtains to keep the sun out when you want to sleep. I have them, I need curtain rods brackets. I have the rods, but nothing to hang them on. I've been looking for them, but they don't seem to be sold separately.

Hope you felt rested and better after your nap, and get things done you were wanting to do. I have not been on here much lately myself because of not feeling well, but trying to get caught up as much as I can.

I hate it when the sun gets into your eyes. Your plan of sleeping through that time seems a great one to me although it would be even better if you could sleep through the night. I hope that proofing continues to go well and am looking forward to reading it. I do hope that Pinterest board goes up soon.

@just4him I have nights like that. Usually when something is on my mind and I haven't yet found peace about it. I am not saying that was your cause, just what happens to me. All my books are taking longer than I thought and I am hoping to get sorted with some today. Do you intend to have a book signing?

I think I closed this one once and the sun still came through, so it didn't really do anything to block it. I hope the curtain helps you.

A curtain will blocked the sun. But if you don't want them, maybe you could re-arrange some of your furniture, in a way the sun won't bother you when you're sitting or doing something in your desk.

@just4him Oh. Maybe your son can lend a hand when he has plenty of time.
