Do you always expect too much from others?

This may often causes a lot of frustration in people... Are you the kind of person who always creates many expectations regarding what people you like or would you rather not create expectations and let yourself be surprised by them?

I don't expect much from others except myself. I had others expecting a lot from me, so I know how annoying it is, all the anxiety it creates, and I don't want others to experience the same. People are unpredictable anyway, you never stop learning about them, so it's better to not act like you're all-knowing and just be a scientist with your cavies.

I have learned a lesson from life to not to expect things from anyone to minimise the disappointment and hurt. But I still fall into the old patterns every now and then. The thing is to keep reminding yourself of what is important and what is not.

I do at times expect a lot from others is why if they do something so bad I get so angry at them. They are human and make mistakes and I am far from perfect. I can be a perfectionist and expect at times others to be the same way, but we are all individuals and I forget that at times and have to remind myself.

I almost expect too little from people, I feel like I should be more patient with people. I don't connect with a lot of people on a personal level, to be honest.
