What can you suggest?

I made some interactions last night hoping to get additional earnings. Though I am far from reaching the minimum this month. But still hope to get it soon.
I came across one post which I feel sharing with my friends. As I move to suggestion window, I browsed for names and felt somewhat disappointed when I can't find one name that frequently suggests topics to me.
Does it mean that we cannot suggest to everyone here if they do not belong to our friends circle? Can we suggest to only friends or to which we follow or only to those who follows us?

@neildc Because we can follow and harass everyone with our suggestions.

when mylot restarted mid-2015 we were allowed to suggest our own post, but it was eventually disabled. now we can only suggest to people who follow us, but not to people we follow (unless they also followed us).

@hereandthere Ok, got it. I wasn't able to use or even noticed the feature when mylot restarted. It's maube because I was not active at that time. You know, more members were gone when mylot stopped paying. And when restarted, they never came back. I am guilty of that too.

The suggestion feature is underrated, not very used.
Underrated by myself too, I've never suggested a discussion.

@sabtraversa I actually do not use this feature. It just happen that one frequently sends me suggestions and One time I came across a topic and just tried to suggest to also help the poster get some responders.

I do know you can't suggest your own posts but can suggest other people posts to anyone on your list that comes up.
