Happy Thursday

This day just seems to be flying by and I'm getting nothing done fast. My phone rang earlier and it just totally distracted me. My Aunt called to thank me for her birthday card and we wound up having a long conversation which I enjoyed. But, it just totally threw me off and now I feel as if I'm so behind in want I wanted to do.
Plus I have other things on my mind which keep me from being totally focused. I hate that. My mind just seems preoccupied today.
I did get my list made for a trip to Sams Club tomorrow. We haven't been there in a few weeks so my daughter and I are going tomorrow since she's off from work and we won't have to go over the weekend.
I also have to stop procrastinating about getting my hair cut. It almost time to renew my drivers license and I certainly want my hair cut before they take my picture. It's been way too long since I've gotten it cut and it's longer than it's been in ages. It was just easier to pull it back and not worry about it all summer but now I have to face the fact that it isn't really flattering and my laziness has gotten the better of me.
The lawn crew were here to cut the grass this morning which is unusual but with our weather being so warm the grass is still green and growing.
Nothing exciting here in my little corner of the myLot world. Anything going on with you?

I am in desperate need of a hair cut too. It has been so long since I had it cut that I can't even remember when the last time was. It is quite long but I want to get to cut to give it some shape. Enjoy the rest of your day!

@happy2BeMe I can certainly relate to needing a haircut just to get a shape back in. Mine has been too long overdue

Same thing happened to me - a lengthy phone conversation. My mother lives abroad and we talk on the phone every other day - this week I missed three days so when I called this morning we ended up talking close to an hour. It is a sunny day, but so far nothing exciting happening in my neck of the woods.

Nope, not a thing..I did make my quiche for dinner though and it was pretty good. but I had fried some bacon and crumbled it up and forgot to put it in! Not the first time I have done something so brilliant..! However, I am sticking the little pieces in the finished quiche..it won't be quite as good..but I can still enjoy it!

I had mine trimmed yesterday, and received several compliments on it yesterday and 1 earlier this morning.
I went to the liquidation sale this morning at Sears. Bought a nice set of table lamps. They are adjustable in height, which I really liked. They have a nice 4 inch solid marble base, but are very plain and simple looking.

I always feel good after getting a haircut so I don't know why I procrastinate like I do. It's nice when you get so many compliments on a haircut isn't it. Your new lamps sound really nice and I like the adjustable part and of course getting them on sale is a big plus

And a happy Thursday to you! I've been riding a happy wave since the wedding. We have a tree service coming for an estimate later and our lawn service just mowed our yard and blew the leaves. I also walked 9 miles today, so I'm full of energy. I decided to leave all the cleaning to the cleaning lady who will be here tomorrow and spend some time on myLot, which I've been neglecting. Happy Friday Eve!!!

@Marilynda1225 Well, Marilyn, I left the cleaning lady to do her thing, but my son popped over for several hours. Then we had another tree service arrive. They do our landscaping and plowing, and we decided to use them to remove four humongous trees. Never time to myLot!!!!
