Thankful for a Friday

Even though this was a short work week, since we had no school on Monday, it has seemed really long. I am thankful it is Friday.
The other person who rides the bus is not needed in Marion today, so I am riding the bus and he is staying home. That is pretty okay by me.
I packed my lunch last night. We have an easy meal planned for tonight. Herb class tomorrow.
Hubby is picking up some food supplies we need, so I should not have to go on a shopping trip this weekend. I will just putter around the house. How about you, are your thankful for the weekend?

I am delighted that the weekend is upon us. Been a long stretch having had to work this last weekend. Time for this gal to have some fun. No parties planned, but will enjoy the company of my sister this weekend.

When we put the leftovers away we portion them out for the next meal or to take as lunch. It makes it easy to pick up our selected dishes and go to work.

I`m Thankful for many things especially having a great day always with my husband and had a great chat with my mom this morning

As long as no one is ill, I think my weeks go pretty fast. I am going to begin enjoying it by going to bed early.

Being retired, every day is pretty much the same. Weekends aren't any different from the week days for me.

It is time to go to bed, at the end of a quiet Sunday. My body feels pleasantly tired, like I have used some muscles. I just do not know exactly what I did. Princess says it is bed time.

@GardenGerty it is nice. It is put on by the Teacher's association. They pay our milage and room and give us 3 meals and snacks. Once a year. I went to a great session this evening.

Hubby was so tired he forgot the shopping. I am going to take a muscle relaxer for this dratted leg and knee, then go put wood putty in the seams of my free bookshelf.
