What if out of nowhere you bump into someone you know? Like, let us say, your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend? How would you like to deal with it? Are you going to say "Hi, how are you? Or "Hi, it's you? Well, probably our worlds will be lost in translation somewhere. And somehow, it will leave us clammed up. Have you tried this exemplification? Maybe for some, it is hard to just let it pass especially if that ex-boyfriend/girlfriend wears his/her happy smile of seeing you. And authentically will ask you to have some coffee or chit-chat. Would still want to go over? Photo Grab from Google.com

Is that what you are going to say if you bump into someone you know?

@JustBhem Yes, that would be enough unless they both wanted to have a conversation.

I wouldn't mind, unless I have a new boyfriend. It wouldn't be respectful to hang out with an ex. If that happened, I would probably look elsewhere and have the most awkward smile ever. Same when I see the ex of my bf, I just can't help but smile. Maybe it's just the way I react to embarrassing situations.

I see, and that is only if the boyfriend is around.

I don't have a problem to chat over a coffee with an ex bf. Well, with some more than others.. Lol.. Few days ago I bumped into a guy I worked with, we said hi, how are you and moved on. Honestly, I would have chatted more but as I'm dating someone he knows, I didn't really wanted to go into that conversation.

@JustBhem I suppose it comes down to manners rather than having a real interest.
