Ok, are people really that bothered when something is spelled incorrectly even if you still understand what they mean? My husband gets bothered that he can't spell and I tell him well, I can't add 2 + 2! I'm horrible at numbers he's horrible with words. May ya'll (this is a combination of you and all) please forgive me for not spelling a word correctly in a past post about weenie dogs for not spelling their 'official name' right! lol

I am not one to talk about spelling words correctly. I used to be good at spelling, but when I moved to Israel it seems I cannot spell many words correctly. I cannot criticize anyone else for not spelling words correctly.

If I understand what they mean, If the spelling is incorrect also,I don't bother because the most important thing is that we should understand . If we understand then it does not matter at all...

It only bothers me when someone tries to insult others intelligence and then is constantly making spelling and grammatical errors. Otherwise, it doesn't bother me.

I'm confused. Your last post was on college chairs and before that i can't see anything on weenie dogs. Is weenie dogs the official name? I'm not strong on speeling either here in meloot.

Sometimes it just happens by mistake especially on phone by the time you know the mistake the message is already sent you have to send another to apologise

I don't see spelling as a reflection of intellect. My motto is it's not a matter of what you know, but if you know how to find the answer.... So spelling? Isn't that important when we can use tools like spell check to help out!
