Mud Idols of Goddess Laxmi are brought at home and devotees offer puja to Goddess Laxmi. This is done on the 3rd day of Diwali and Laxmipuja. Once the puja is overs, fruits, flowers and sweets are offered to Goddess Laxmi, on the next day the mud idols of Goddess Laxmi are emersed in Holy Ganges river.
