Going to mow inside today

I woke to the sound of hard rain falling outside. (If my roof starts leaking, it'd be falling inside.) This is one of my last days for mowing weeds this year. Oh well. I did go out into the murk cause Chocolate mini horse guy needed breakfast. The hens were in the same mood so they got some chow, as well as being told to keep their feathered rumps in their coop. Sally demanded I toss the ball a few hundred times, too. Back in the house, hubby is making oatmeal. I dried the dogs and decided: its a good day to make bread and get busy on the Change the Rooms project. My study is going into the guest room and the guest room is going into my study. Hubby started that consternation while I was away. Rain on the windows tells me that yup, time to work inside.

I like rainy days, it forces me to get some jobs done, inside our home.

@kobesbuddy You're right. The bread is baked and cooling so my excuses are dwindling. Rear in gear!

@kobesbuddy I'm over here yawning. The rain is falling harder. (At least the snow is staying north of us.)

We had another cold but sunny day. I'm enjoying it before the rain starts. But I've also worked inside today.

@RubyHawk I'm guessing that your cold is pretty warm to me! (Just one more month and this above freezing precipitation will be serious beans.)

@sallypup I'm sure it would be warm to you. I believe it was in the low 60s.

I had no light yesterday to work inside, nor power to do it. I will do better today. Storms have all passed.

@GardenGerty Great reasons to take time off. I'm glad your storms are gone.

That reminds me, I need a trusty mower, the push kind with sharp blades that'll cut through the blasted weed stems/trunks I've been online a lot lately mostly because of those blasted noseeums. It turns out that in spring they're rarin to go cuz they didn't get enough to eat during our short winter then at this time of year they're stocking up for that short winter we get, I just can't win against those stupid things so instead of being outside where I want to be I end up indoors instead, I just hate to be the lunch they've been hoping for

@rebelann I have an on going conundrum on what mower will work for the nasty job that I have for it. I remember no see ums from my time in Northern Minnesota. Those are nasty buggers.

I like working inside when iti is raining. Sort of a calming effect and then great when the work gets done. Hope you get the rooms changed around today.
