How about those Beanie Babies? Have any?

Perhaps I was an over-indulgent single dad in 1996 when Beanie Babies were "born." My daughter was eight, her mother had died less than two years earlier, so there I was.
She wanted every one that came pout. She did not get that many, but she got a lot as you see from the sample in my photo. There were high hopes that in twenty years, these little frauds would have a big investment value. Well, here we are 21 years later and the prices on eBay all over the map. But the "sold" prices are very lowwww.
What made me dig these out today was that Anne is making an Athena costume for a Halloween Party we are attending on Saturday night. Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom, so Anne wanted a wise owl to carry. I recalled there was one in the Beanie Baby bag, so dug it out.
I will have to get a photo of Anne in this costume!

@celticeagle If I had that white coat and a stethoscope perhaps. I did get a Beatle style wig and have a tee shirt that says "undercover" on it. Maybe with sunglasses?
