why do guys cheat

I really don't understand why guys cheat i mean if you don't really love the girl why marry her? you could've just stayed single and mingle with many ladies. but why make a girl feel special give her the highest hopes of happiness then break's her heart? so frustrating how my dad keeps on cheating on my mom. he keeps on promising of changing but he never does. i feel sorry for my mom. she keeps on believing my father will change. but he just don't. I can't how will i make my mom believe that my dad doesn't have a plan to change. and she's just the one who's keeps on fighting.

I don't believe that's my dads point of view. i grew up hearing their fights. my mom gave her all the trust till now but seems like my dad never appreciates it. and for some reason i think mydad never changed because he believes that no matter what he does my mom will just keeps on forgiving him.

I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds pretty frustrating, I agree. I don't have a perfect solution for you, but I do know that sometimes people have a hard time letting go of something that is familiar or changing something because it no longer works. She may have memories of the way it was at some point in time, and is afraid of loosing the one person she knows she had a connection with. Maybe encourage her to separate by reminding her that she deserves someone else, and that maybe she can find someone who will value her for who she is and will be loyal. And maybe remind her that being single for a while is okay too. She has people around her that truly love her and that is all that is important.

I keep on saying that to her my friend. but i think you're right. she's too afraid to let go of someone she's been with throughout the year they've been together.
