Hello all, is it that time of year to change your clocks where you are?

Do you move your clocks forward one hour or back one hour where you are or do not change your clocks at all? If you do not change your clocks where you are what season does it stay all year round? We change our clocks next Saturday night or Sunday morning and move it one hour back? We change our clocks twice a year. Hopefully when we change our clocks next week that we will still have nice weather till winter sets in here. Then we change our clocks forward one hour in March. When do you change your clocks?

I think most of the world does the same, but I might be wrong!
We also put our clocks back next weekend and forwards in spring

I live in Pennsylvania and honestly I don't know the exact date we turn our clocks ahead or back. I only know the saying Spring ahead Fall back.

@Hannihar yes but USA has different states that either change or don't change to their time. like AZ is thousands of miles from Florida. we change time on the east coast etc. but not on parts of the west

Thank you brandyJ for clearing that up. I did not know that. I thought all the States in the US turned their clocks.

Were you born there? If so then it must seem normal never to have to change the clocks.

Western Australia doesn't change their clocks any more although most of the other Australian states do. We voted it against daylight saving as they call it here.

@Hannihar no, what you say makes sense as it is getting darker earlier as winter approaches but the clock changing system is not there

Spring forward, Fall back is the saying here. This is actually odd. We do not use the word "fall" for "autumn" here in the UK. It just helps us to remember.

In the Philippines, we don't change our clocks. I had no idea that troublesome thing had to be done just to phase up with time. We only have rain and summer season.

Does it rain a lot in the summer there. Do you like have the same season all year round?

Yes we do it here, too, I wish the time could just stay the same.

I understand what you are saying Jellybelly. Well, we changed our clocks early this morning. Since I do not stay up till 2 am but get up at that time at times I like to set my clocks before I go to bed. When I wake up and see that the computer is right then I know I did the right time. Last time we changed I screwed up somehow and do not know what I did and then when found out I did screw up I fixed the situation.

Here in CT, USA we move the clock forward one hour in spring and one hour back in the fall.
There's a little reminder to help me remember every year - "Spring forward, fall back."

Yes Linda I know that one too, but, the dates are what are important when you do it. Do you always know the dates when you are suppose to do it or is there somewhere that tells you when? I go on something that tells us and so I write it down and it also tells us when to move them the other way too.
