What's up everyone? I hope your day is off to a good start. It is a bit cool and sunny here--gorgeous fall weather. 67 degrees F at the moment. I was driving around with the top down on my convertible! I went to bed early last night so I was up early this morning. I just stayed in bed and kind of dozed in and out for awhile. I finally got up around 8:30 and decided to head to the grocery store. It was surprisingly empty. I got a great deal on some pre-marinated skirt steaks. Regular skirt costs $14.99/lb. These were on manager's special for $2.99/lb so I bought like 8 packages of them--half sweet chili marinade and half teriyaki. Each pack was about $2. Hopefully the marinades are tolerable. After the store I stopped at Quik Check to get gas and a cup of coffee. My husband called and said he was going to Shooters (indoor gun range) and wanted to know if I wanted to go with him. I said no and to just go ahead. I don't think my anxiety could handle all of the noise at this juncture. Much better for me to use the time to soak in a nice warm bath and read. We will be going out for lunch and to watch football when he gets home. The Jets play at 1pm and that is one of our local teams. My husband is an Eagles fan but he does secretly like the Jets too. What's everyone else up to today? Will you be watching football?
