Donald Trump said today that he does not object that France and Germany continue to deal with Iran. Wait a moment... Do not switch roles ! We are just fulfilling our commitments with the JCPOA. It has not been signed only by the USA, but also by the EU, France, Germany, UK and Russia, and you cannot terminate unilateraly an international treaty.
If somebody would deserve to be sanctioned here, it is not France or Germany, not Iran, but the USA ! You are creating a complete mess on this planet that your allies are trying to limit as well as they can.
I do not know if it is the interest of the USA to see closer ties between Iran and Russia, and Iran starting again researches to get a H bomb, but it is not the interest of your «friends,» so, yes, they will respect their signatures.
Sorry, I did not wanted to start another discussion about Donald Trump today, but he managed to make me angry. Maybe the sciatica is partly responsible. I feel better now that I wrote this.
How do you take it when one of your friends wants to make you feel guilty when he is the only guilty one ?

Something we all seem to forget about Trump. He is not out for the USA. He is out for Trump.

@celticeagle The ball is in the hands of your congress now, we will see, but I doubt that the position of European countries will change about Iran.

He often has no clue of what he's talking about, and thankfully he wasn't talking to ME, so I'm not that angry at his statements.
I'd try to explain my friend why I'm innocent and he's the guilty one, by the way.
I'd take it as a misunderstanding that can or cannot be solved. Some people can think so differently there's nothing they're able to agree on.

We tried to explain it. The one who explained it straightforward was Italian. Federica Mogherini, as the chief of the EU diplomacy told that the JCPOA "does not belong to any single country and it is not up to any single country to terminate it". You cannot be more clear, but there are days where I ask myself if Donald Trump listens to anybody else than Donald Trump ?

@topffer He has become where he is today completely by a fluke. The strange thing is, why is he still there. Any thought about this? I kept reading news about how they planned to remove him, well, nothing has happened so far and in the meantime, he keeps offending more people.

A bit hard for me to answer as the said person lives in England and truth to tell they both live in England and caused me a lot of pain and anguish and I was left on my own to cope with a situtation that was no fault of my own rather theirs and their wanting to get their own way everytime and big time.
I for one do not feel guilty and as if I ever should.
I did what was best for the welfare of a woman that could not defend herself from them so I made sure she was "safe".
Although they are family by blood they are certainly not my friends.
I take it full of serenity now which has been hard for me to achieve but I am at peace with what happened.
I have not seen much of Mr. Trump actually I have been in Pamplona a lot but not really for happy reasons but because of people trying to make me go on yet another guilt trip.

Sorry, it looks like you had to face a terrible situation. Family problems can affect us a lot, and having to justify yourself when you are not guilty of anything is difficult and unfair. I would not "go on another guilt trip" if I was you. Don't you think that once was enough ?

His words are much like sciatica issues . . . it pinches a nerve and affects many areas . . . and it keeps coming back ! He twists things around, making any opportunity to elevate his high chair. He likes to think he is the director of the show, but I don't know that he really knows what the show is about. At this point, though it was from long ago, I have no trust in his words - and I seriously don't know how anyone can still have faith in this president (but they do ).

@topffer The thing is he seems to insist on walking his own path regardless of what is recommended. He closes his ears (and brain) but opens his mouth wide. I don't think he completely understands the scope of worldly matters - and that is dangerous and scary. He is not for the team - he is out for himself .

He is incredible, he wants to leave an international agreement, and he would like that everybody followed him. The JCPOA is the result of 10 years of discussions with Iran, I doubt that Iran will accept to discuss again just to please Donald Trump and Saudi Arabia. All he is doing is pushing Iran to have closer ties with Russia. I hope that your congress will understand that and will recommend to continue to follow this treaty. There is nothing to win for the USA to stay out of it, and trying to force your allies to put sanctions on a country fulfilling commitments is a shame.
