You don't have to be patient...

...but you DO have to wait.
2017 has been one long year of waiting:
Waiting for Baby G to be born...
Waiting for my horrible sciatica to go away...
Waiting to find out if my husband would keep teaching...
...and then waiting for him to find a new job...
Waiting to find a rental in our new town and then resorting to buying an RV...
And now waiting to sell the RV so we can buy our first house...
My patience is wearing thin.
I've had quite enough of all this waiting!
How 'bout y'all? What have you been waiting for?

I hope all of your waiting is very worth it as well. =)

We were supposed to get into a rental a couple of weeks ago, but it fell through. I'm praying buying this house will actually work out...
I remember reading about your "adventures" in trying to find a place after your landlord sold the house y'all were living in. I better understand the patience you must have had to have gone through all that!

@Genipher I hope something comes through for you soon and I am sure it will.
Well thank you, it was some trying times but I realize now that it was worth it for what God had in store for us. =)

Recently we had to wait to buy another piece of land (we did), waited for my husband's legs to get better from horrible pain (he did), and now I'm waiting for my shoulder to heal from surgery (it will.) God has been gracious. Hope your family will soon be settled in your new home.

I don't like waiting either but I'm waiting patiently most of the time for God to do something about the mess in the world.

Waiting for things to get easier than what they have been.

That's definitely frustrating, but what else can you do besides waiting anyways? Don't worry it will be over soon and you're probably going to laugh about it some day.

Yesterday I was thinking that, next year, all this waiting will be a fond memory. In the moment, however, it can be hard to be content.
This will also probably be one of those experiences that I'll be able to use to encourage or teach my kids, one day.
