Man Daubed With Silver Paint

Have you ever seen persons with their faces and bodies daubed with silver paint? They usually stand on the road asking for a kind of contribution. The question is why they have their faces and bodies covered with paint or other soft substance?
This doesn't interest me at all and I wouldn't give them anything. Traffic jam is their target as many vehicles have to stop.

I saw several models like this standing before the stores to attract people to do shopping.

I accept it when it is a street performer because they are doing something for money or maybe just to kill time and share their talent. It isn't right to be begging though if they are not performing.

@yanzalong Then that is begging. Street performer are actually working, human statues, yes they may be just standing still but that is still working haha
