A Little About Me

As you can see I come from South Africa and I am 37 years old. I am currently a stay at home mom who is trying to run my own social media marketing business, but it is harder than I thought.
I have an 8 year old son, who is almost 9 my ex and I separated when my son was 1. I did not get involved with anyone for years. Then last year December I started dating someone who I have known for 10 years, and I am in a relationship again. We are currently living together.
I love writing poetry, I love cooking and baking occasionally. My son is my world.
My Beau has a 20 year old daughter. We have a house full of animals. Lol.
1 bird, a fish tank full of fish, which is my sons. Three small dogs which is my Beau’s. 2 Cats, One is my sons (Sharky) grey and white the other is my Beau’s daughters (Screed) black and white.
Well that is a little about me, I am sure you will learn more as I share discussions.

@Chantiele No. We do not have pets. We want a dog but we live in a rented house. When we build our own house, I am going to take care of my pets

@LadyDuck I Agree, over the weekend they caught a sparrow. I know that it is an instinct but I feel so bad for the birds

Thank You, They are beautiful but naughty. They keep on catching birds and bringing them into the house.

Welcome. It's nice to learn a little more about other Mylotters. I'm retired from owning, running, managing a busy bridal shop. Now I run around looking after my elderly (91) father, my husband of 42 years and my children and grandchildren.....plus we have a major move planned for May.

Hello and welcome to our friendly community. I just turned 60 this past summer and am now focusing the "me" factor of my life.
Our 2 year old granddaughter lives with us, so as you can imagine, I am quite busy. I work full-time as a personal care attendant for a local non-profit VNA. Have been doing this work for over 10 years now. Can't wait to retire though!
I am married to a hard working man for the past 6 years (although I just found out he took the day off to go hunting). I have 4 adult children, 4 grandchildren and one on the way!

Your family story is private, so do not divulge as much. Just one unsolicited advice from a well-meaning friend. We can be transparent without telling each and every detail. We also have many pets in the house: 5 pigeons, 1 goat, 2 chickens, 4 rabbits, 1 dog and 3 puppies.
