Rainy day at the laundromat

I hate washing laundry. Other than washing dishes, it is one of my least favorite chores. Washing laundry means going downstairs with a cart full of laundry, walking to the laundromat, shoving my clothes into a washer, lugging the wet clothes out of the washer, pushing a cart across the laundromat to the dryers, shoving my clothes into dryers assuming I don't have to wait for them to free up, shoving my warm clothes into a laundry bag in my cart, dragging the cart back to my apartment building, dragging the cart up the stairs, and then folding the clothes and putting them away. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
So much for a day off, huh?
What chores do you dislike doing?
Once I get my package from Hellofresh, I'm going back to sleep

When I had to use the laundromat it was annoying. Always having to wait for a dyer to be open. Laundry is much less a chore to do at home.

@dgobucks226 yeah, at tax time, I'll be investing in a washer and dryer since my apartment does have washer dryer hook ups.

Right now, since my kids are with my mother and it is just me here, I can go about 2 weeks between trips to the laundromat.

My eldest child had bathroom duty but, somehow, she wiggled out of it.
Hmmmm...methinks I need to come up with an updated chore chart for all the kiddos...!
Laundry is a bit of an ordeal for us right now, too. Dirty clothes pile up fast with a family of 9...and we're currently without a washer or dryer. I either drag everything to the laundromat or my best good friend lets me come over and hog her machines.
I'm sorely looking forward to having our own laundry machines again!

Right now, it's just me at home so the bathroom doesn't get too dirty. I tidy up every couple of days.
When the kids get home finally, that is my son's chore since he makes the biggest mess in the bathroom. He's 16. Chores are a good way to teach responsibility

I don't really mind doing chores and things. I just hate when things get so backed up that it feels overwhelming to start. I hang my clothes outside to dry but thankfully, don't have to do a lot of steps (just enough to get from second floor to ground floor!). I NEED to do laundry today, but can't since its raining and likely will all day! hahah
