Come Out, Come Out Right Now!

This morning I heard sirens. Then I looked out the window and saw five or six police vehicles up the road with rifles out pointing at a house. “Come out of the building,” one of the cops said over a loud speaker. “Come out right now!” Then there was a pause and the officer repeated it. A few minutes later the cops started walking around but one cop still had his rifle pointed at the house. After a bit the officer with the rifle got into his vehicle and backed it up then turned it so it was facing the house. Then the cops sat there for an hour. I couldn’t see what they were doing so I took my morning shower. When I got out of the shower all the cop cars were gone. What do I thing happened? A couple of months ago I posted how this woman was stopping out in front of my place and waiting for a guy to come down and get into her vehicle. As time went on she would wait for the guy and then after he got into her vehicle they would sit there for about three minutes then he would get out and walk away and she would drive off. Eventually she started driving right to his house. I couldn’t see for sure but it looked like that was the house where the cops were. I stated in that post that I thought they were dealing drugs. I’ll watch and see if those two make connections again.

I remember your last post. Your neighbourhood seems rather unsafe. How do other neighbours react?

I've lived in this neighborhood since 1986 and was just thinking nothing like this happened until about 5 years ago. Matter of fact back in the 90s my brother and I took a road trip to Grand Coulee Dam to see the lights on the dam. Halfway there I asked my brother if he remembered if I closed the door after loading things into my vehicle. He couldn't remember and since we were 50 miles (80 kilometers) from home we continued on the trip. When we got home around 2 a.m. the door was wide opened. I went inside and there was nothing missing, moved or out of place. I left the door wide open all that time, a good 9 hours, and no one bothered it. But now days I double check to make sure I lock my doors. I have no idea what the neighbor's reaction are. For the most part I think they are off to work and don't see what goes on here during the day.

@RichardMeister Hmm, not a good development. Hopefully, things don't get worse. They're bad enough as it seems.

That was a lot of excitement. Glad there was no shooting!

Oh jeez. That is scary. He or she must be wanted for something bad. Do you think they got the person?

I hope they did. I don't know why they would have stopped demanding he come out if they didn't get him.

That sounds a bit serious. I hope you keep out of the danger zone while all this is going on.

I was in my house, that's why I couldn't see exactly which house it was.

I remember that post - now it seems like your suspicions are correct.
