Angus is not feeling well

I am so sad. Angus is not feeling well and I am not there to take good care of him. I know that he is well taken care of by my cousin as Angus is so loved by all in our family.
Angus is 10 years old now and he is suffering from an early stage of Dachshund paralysis. His back legs are too weak to walk that my cousin carry him down and up the stairs to pee and make his business in our yard. He has pain in his joints I supposed and I told my cousin to massage his legs gently.
What my cousin told me, made me researched online the cause of Angus behaviour, about the illness of a Cavalier King Charles spaniel dog. It leads me and hubby to the conclusion that he has now a Dachshund paralysis and a heart illness.
He collapsed twice already this year and my cousin revived him by putting her hands in his mouth to be able to breath and Angus came back to life. Every time before Angus collapsed, he cried out loud that my cousin and my small nieces run to him and saved him.
He is taking a medicine given by the vet. He is drinking, eating and feeling better but my cousin has to give him his water through a baby bottle. The vet told my cousin that Angus should be x-rayed but I said no because it will just hurt him.
Anyway, I think I have to prepare myself for the worst. I just hope that he will not suffer so much pain. I just hope I can still see him alive when I come back home next year.
I am really thankful to God that I have a cousin who was not only a good caregiver to my late father but also a good caregiver to our beloved Angus. Bless this good and kind hearted girl.
This photo was taken last Sunday when I videochatted at home.

@DianneN thank you very much Dianne. I video chat again today and Angus was doing fine though he has trouble walking but he was carried up and down to go to the yard to make his business. He even barked to the cat of my sister-in-law when he saw the cat.

I don't think so as we have no modern facilities where Angus is. It would not be a problem if he is in Germany @prashu228

Poor Angus, that rear leg disease is pretty much what my Beau had as well. He lived with it for quite a long time. I will pray that Angus will be there for greet you when you return next year.

If he cannot walk and in so much pain maybe he should be put down. That's a really decision though I know as I had to have my rabbit put down when she was suffering and was only going to suffer more until what she had killed her shortly.

Angus looked very sick, I think it is best that you prepare for the worst. Sorry, or maybe Angus go for surgery for the weak legs?
